Nokia Lumia 2520: Nokia's first ever tablet

At Nokia World in Abu Dhabi, Nokia  lifted the veil from its first tablet venture. Christened the 2520, the device runs on Windows 8.1 RT and will be available in a bunch of colours including cyan, red, white, and black. The device will be priced at $499 (Rs. 30,750 approx.) and is expected to ship in Q4 in the US. It also has a Surface like keyboard accessory available for $149 (Rs. 9,200 approx.).
In terms of its specifications, the Lumia 2520 has a 10-inch IPS display with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. Nokia claims that the display on the tablet is great for outdoor use. Under the hood, it has a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM. An 8000mAh battery powers the entire package. The rear of the tablet has a 6.7MP camera and the front has a 2MP for video calling.
It has 32GB built-in storage with a 32GB expansion option via a microSD card. It also supports LTE connectivity. It measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs 615 grams. The Lumia 2520 has a headphones jack, micro HDMI out, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and NFC.
Nokia claims that the Lumia 2520 will give users a battery life of 11 hours. The keyboard accessory will give users two additional USB ports along with five more hours of battery life. The keyboard accessory for the 2520 is clunkier when compared to the one available for the Surface tablets from Microsoft.
