Motorola is
on a roll after the massive success of its Moto G smartphone. Even as
the company unveiled a new low-cost smartphone 'Moto E', it also
introduced a new version of its best selling smartphone. The new version
of the Moto G supports LTE and comes with a microSD card slot – a
feature that was missed in the previous iteration of the phone.
Rest of the specifications of the
smartphone remain the same – 4.5-inch display, Android 4.4.2 KitKat,
1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1GB of RAM and 5MP camera with
LED flash.
With a combination of good specs, solid
design and affordable pricing, the Moto G became Motorola's best selling
smartphone in company's history, in less than six months of its launch.
However, one of the things the phone lacked was the unavailability of
expandable storage. But, Motorola has rectified that omission in the new
version of the smartphone, making the product more attractive.
