Lenovo has officially announced the launch of its Vibe X2 smartphone in India. The new Lenovo phone runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat and and is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 19,999, and will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting November 10.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 features multi-layered design. It hfeatures 5-inch full HD display, 13MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, and 5MP fixed-focus front facing camera. The smartphone has 32GB of internal storage. In terms of connectivity, the Vibe X2 supports dual-SIM, 2G, 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0 + 4.1 LE and GPS.
The Vibe X2 is powered by a 2300 mAh battery, rated to deliver talktime up to 15.5 hours (2G) and 11 hours (3G/4G). The smartphone comes with gravitation, proximity, light and e-compass sensors. You can check out the full specifications of the Vibe X2 here. Lenovo has also introduced a snap on battery cover, which adds an extra layer to the phone along with an extra 2300 mAh battery. This battery pack can also be charged seperately. The battery pack will sell at Rs. 2,000 on Flipkart. There will also be a snap on back for the speaker, which has been designed by JBL. It adds an extra speaker to the device.
Lenovo had unveiled the Vibe X2 along with Vibe Z2 smartphone at the recent. IFA 2014 event. The company recently launched Vibe Z2 Pro smartphone, featuring 6-inch Quad HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz and 3GB of RAM.
