Gionee GN9005 could be the slimmest smartphone in the world
Gionee is reportedly working on a new smartphone, which is said to be possibly the slimmest phone so far. Codenamed GN9005, the new Gionee smartphone sports 5mm thickness, slightly lesser than the current 'slimmest phone' S5.5. The smartphone was spotted a Chinese certification website.
The rumoured Gionee smartphone features a 4.8-inch 720p AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The Gionee GN9005 has  16GB of storage, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, and  2,050mAh battery.
Right now there's no word on the price and availability of the smartphone. However, we expect the information to be out pretty soon.
Gionee had launched its Elife S5.5 smartphone in India earlier this year. The smartphone sports 5-inch Super AMOLED with 1920x1080 resolution, 13MP rear autofocus with LED flash, 5MP front facing and 1.7GHz octa-core processor.
