Micromax launches 32-inch LED TV for Rs. 16,490
Micromax has launched a 32-inch LED TV for Rs 16,490. The LED TV will be sold exclusively on e-commerce site Snapdeal.com with a delivery time of two business days. The ecommerce site is already selling the TV for a discounted price of Rs 15,999.
The Micromax 32-inch LED TV features a zero dot panel and has a narrow bezel design. It has USB play supporting all audio and video formats and HDMI and VGA ports to give additional viewing options. Other features included are a 32-inch screen with a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and a contrast ratio of 3000000:1. The dimensions of the TV are 734.5mm x 80mm x 431.5mm without its stand.
Micromax ventured into the panel market in October 2012 by launching its range of LED TVs. According to Snapdeal, the LED TV would be available across 400 cities and will be delivered to customers in NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad within two business days.
Speaking about the tie up, Micromax said, "We are glad to partner with Snapdeal to launch our latest 32-inch LED TV exclusively with them. This partnership reinforces our commitment to offer the best in class yet affordable innovations to our consumers. We are looking forward to a great consumer response through this platform."
Google has partnered with smartphone maker Micromax, for its Android One platform. The company will be launching its first Android  One smartphone in October during the festival season. The smartphone will be priced at approximately Rs 6,000 and will feature a 4.5 inch display screen, MediaTek processor, dual sim capabilities, expandable memory, and integrated FM Radio. Google is planning to invest 100 crore on promoting its Android One program in India.
