Retina scanner is coming to smartphones, hints Samsung

Retina scanner is coming to smartphones, hints Samsung
Samsung’s Exynos division tweeted a picture that envisions the future of your mobile security. The pictures suggest that Samsung might be working on a Retina Scanner for its phones after all. "Security can be improved using features unique to us. That's what we envision. What would you use?" said the tweet by @SamsungExynos.

If rumors are to be believed we would see a retina scanner in the yet to be announced Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The Phablet is expected to be announced this September. The device may come with a 5.7 inch display and the new Exynos 5433 chipset. After the fingerprint scanner and the failed attempt of Face-unlock feature we may finally get to see what a retina scanner could do to help secure devices. If Samsung pulls it off we may be looking at a better way of securing our devices.
