Sony Xperia T3, 5.3-inch quad-core phone launched at Rs. 27,990
Sony has announced the launch of its new Android smartphone, Xperia T3, in India. Priced at Rs. 27,990, the smartphone will be available in the market by 28th July.
The Sony Xperia T3 is among the slim devices in the market right now, measuring 150.7 x 77 x 7 mm; and weighs around 148 grams. The smartphone has a 5.3-inch HD (1280x720) TRILUMINOS display for mobile with BRAVIA Engine 2. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and is powered by a Qualcomm 1.4GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The Xperia T3 has 8MP rear camera with auto focus Sony Exmor RS for mobile image sensor and 1.1MP front-facing camera. Camera features include Image stabiliser, Sweep Panorama, Scene recognition etc. It has 8GB flash memory, expandable up to 32GB via microSD.
For connectivity, the 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality, Miracast and aGPS. It is powered by a 2500 mAh battery, featuring a Battery STAMINA Mode. The smartphone comes preloaded with a few exclusive apps such as Social Live, AR effect, Timeshift burst and Xperia Transfer.
The Xperia T3 comes in white, black and purple colour options. The Xperia T3 will compete against a range of mid-range Android smartphones in the market.
