Developers of the addictive game Candy Crush Saga have reportedly have stopped the development of the Windows phone version of the game.
According to reports the game was in development for Windows Phone since January along with a number of popular games like Farm Heroes Saga from the developer. However French gaming website Pocket Gamer.fr. has reported that developer 'King' has made the decision to put all their Windows Phone projects on indefinite hold.
This is not the first company which has decided to not launch their games on Windows Phone platform. Earlier this year, developer Supercell has stated that they had no plans to bring their two biggest hits, Clash of Clans and Hay Day, on Windows Phone.
Windows phone is already facing tough competition from Android and iOS platforms. Earlier this week, Microsoft announced a universal mobile keyboard that works with Android and iOS devices as well as Windows tablets. The keyboard will be launched for $79.95 in October.
